"Best of Wadadli Tour" - (Wadadli was Antigua's previous name)
Places we will visit on this shore excursion:
Nelson's Dockyard – After England acquired colonial British Antigua and Barbuda in 1632, the English Harbour became a focal point for the establishment of a naval base. Construction of the modern Naval Dockyard began in the 1740s. Among the original buildings are two hotels, a museum, craft and food shops, restaurants, and a large marina.
Shirley Heights Lookout Point – Explore historical, partially-restored fortifications of the harbour's colonial observation post. The view is spectacular from atop the hillside at Shirley Heights. See across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea all the way to Montserrat and Guadaloupe. Bring your camera for amazing photos.
Fig Tree Rainforest Drive – Relax and enjoy the natural landscape you are driven through the lush foliage of Antigua's rain forest. View banana trees, local villages and exotic greenery along the way.
Beach Visit – On this tour, we will make a stop at one of Antigua's beautiful, white sand beaches. Take a dip in the Caribbean Sea or simply relax in the sun. Antigua is known for its 365 beaches – one for each day of the year.
